SITE ASSESSMENT
Once a site is suspected of being contaminated there is a need to assess the contamination. Usually the Assessment begins with the preparation of a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment.
An environmental site assessment is a report prepared for a real estate closing that identifies potential or existing environmental conditions. The analysis, often called an ESA, typically addresses both the underlying land as well as physical improvements to the property.
